Ms Kritagya Regmi, from Nepal has a journalism background and is currently working at Health Research and Social Development Forum (HERD) as a Communication Officer. HERD is a national non-governmental organisation, promoting evidence informed policies and practices for sustainable development in health, environment and social sectors to improve quality of life. She is involved in the Research Uptake and Communications Unit and has been engaged in various public health issues like TB, HIV/AIDS, mental health, nutrition, maternal and child health among others. Prior to joining HERD, Regmi worked as a reporter for leading English news daily, The Himalayan Times. While working as a journalist she reported on various health and social issues including gender and women issues among others. She has also contributed many articles, prepared case studies and reports to raise the awareness on public health challenges in Nepal. Regmi did her undergraduate in Journalism and Mass Communication and Master’s Degree in Child Development (thesis to be submitted) from Tribhuvan University Nepal.
