Dr. Nargis Asad is associated with Psychiatry department, Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi as an Associate Professor.  She has been working in the field of Mental Health for more than 15 years and has had exposure to diverse and varied psychological problems prevalent in the local society.  Her research interests include Women mental health with an emphasis on intergenerational factors and adolescent mental health.  Dr. Asad is the Chair of Working Group for Women (WGW) at AKU, whose mandate is to raise awareness on gender related issues and promotion of gender balanced work environment
