Topic: Normative Frameworks for Green Banking in Pakistan - Circular on Green Banking Guidelines, State Bank of Pakistan   Dr Saleem is currently working as Chief Operating Officer at Pakistan Mortgage Refinance Company. Previously he worked as Additional Director, State Bank of Pakistan where he implemented and disseminated Development and Green Finance Policies of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).  He has the privilege of representing SBP at various domestic and international forums including conferences and universities. Before joining the SBP in January 2007, he was an Assistant Director in the National Tariff Commission, Government of Pakistan Since June 2000.   He also has almost 5 years experiences of teaching graduate level student at various national and foreign universities. Dr Saleem graduated from Australian National University Canberra, Australia with a PhD in economics in 2007 (Dissertation title: “Privatization and Restructuring of Power Sector in Pakistan”).
