Topic: Findings from the National Scoping Study in Pakistan: “Climate Finance in Pakistan and the Way Forward” Irfan has worked on diverse themes like quality of education, data sciences, climate change, livelihood resilience, and political economy. He has contributed a number of articles on education quality and data sciences. Besides, he has a wide interest in fiscal policy and energy economics. At SDPI, he also coordinates with the research staff to keep record of the research activities there. He organizes Policy Research and Advocacy Meetings in which all the Research and Advocacy staff present their activities. These meetings serve as self-monitoring platform. He also arranges weekly Brown Bag Research Meetings (BBRMs) to discuss new research ideas as well as to give feedback to the research work produced by the institute’s researchers. He is CA Foundation qualified and has done MPhil in Economics from Pir Meher Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi.
