Currently he is Project Director of Pakistan Initiatives on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and National focal point on SDGs from the government. He is also serving as Chief Poverty Alleviation. Previously he remained Chief (Macroeconomic Section) in Planning Commission, Joint Economic Adviser, Ministry of Finance, and Deputy Secretary in Ministry of Finance. Several publications/papers in the area of Macroeconomics, fiscal policy and social developments have also been authored by him.
