Dr Fahmida Khatun is the Executive Director of the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), a leading think tank in South Asia. Dr Khatun was awarded ‘Anonnya Shirsho Dosh’ (Best Ten) prize in 2009 for her contribution to economic research. She is invited regularly to write for the East Asia Forum based in Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University. She writes OP-EDs in national dailies, and is a weekly columnist of the Daily Star, a leading daily in Bangladesh.
