Ms Anne Marchal joined the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Pakistan as Deputy Head of Mission in October 2016. She is a ‘South Asia hand’, having served several times in the region, including most recently as Head of Political Affairs Section in the Delegation of the EU to India and Bhutan (2012-16). Her career also includes experience in the private sector, and she has studied Political Sciences & International Relations, International Law and Aviation and Maritime Law at the Free University of Brussels, before reading for a Diploma in International Law in Cambridge, UK.
