Mr Joseph George is a trade analyst at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) Sub-regional Office for South and South-West Asia, where he provides research support for implementation of UNESCAP’s projects and programmes on regional trade, transport connectivity and energy cooperation in Southern Asia. Recent ESCAP publications as lead author include Unlocking the Potential of Regional Economic Cooperation and integration in South Asia (2017); and Integrating South Asia’s Power Grid for a Sustainable and Low Carbon Future (2018).
