Dr Saifullah Chaudhry is the CEO and Gender Advisor at Development Impact Solutions (GEDI). He brings over 20 years of experience from his roles with various United Nations agencies and international non-governmental organisations, where he has provided leadership in gender-transformative program development and implementation across Africa and Asia. His expertise extends to impact investing, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and gender bonds, with a deep understanding of gender issues in diverse cultural contexts and barriers to women’s economic empowerment within various value chains. Dr Chaudhry is also well-versed in addressing Decent Work Challenges and the implementation of core International Labour Standards. Academically, he holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Communication and Media Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Masters in Defence & Strategic Studies and PhD in Anthropology from Quaid-i-Azam University, Pakistan.
