Mr Parvez Iftikhar

Mr Parvez Iftikhar possesses over 40 years of experience in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) domain, specifically within Telecom Policy and Regulation. His extensive background spans both public and private sectors, in Pakistan and internationally. Currently working as an independent ICT consultant, Mr. Iftikhar’s consulting footprint extends to 15 countries, where he collaborates with prominent global organizations, including the World Bank, International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Asian Development Bank (ADB), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI), Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO), Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and various private consulting firms based in Europe and the US.

Before his consulting endeavours, he held pivotal roles as the founding CEO of Universal Service Fund (USF) Pakistan and the country head of Siemens Telecom. An alumnus of University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Mr Iftikhar has augmented his expertise with academic sabbaticals to prestigious institutions such as Oxford, Harvard, and Carnegie Mellon Universities.
