Ms. Farzana Altaf Shah

Ms. Farzana Altaf Shah serves as the Director General of the Environment Protection Agency (EPA). In her role, she has been instrumental in enforcing the Pakistan Environmental Protection Act (PEPA) 1997 rules and regulations. She is responsible for managing highly sensitive assignments and projects, particularly in the realm of environmental protection and compliance.

Her department plays a crucial role in issuing certificates for the establishment of environmental laboratories in the Islamabad Capital Territory. Ms Shah is dedicated to promoting research and the advancement of science and technology, focusing on pollution prevention, environmental protection, and sustainable development.
