Ms Shandana Humayun Khan

Ms Shandana Humayun Khan brings 33 years of expertise in Rural Development, Community Development, and Poverty Reduction Programmes in Pakistan and South Asia. As the Chief Executive Officer of the Rural Support Programmes Network (RSPN), Ms Khan oversees one of Pakistan’s foremost non-governmental development organisations. Under her stewardship, RSPN, which includes nine Rural Support Programmes, has connected with 54 million individuals across rural Pakistan.

In her role, Ms Khan sets the strategic direction for the vast network and impacts government and donor strategies in domains like livestock, agriculture, social protection, and community-driven development. Her depth of experience in rural development is reflected in her participation in multiple government policy committees and task forces. Within RSPN, she provides both strategic and technical guidance to Pakistan’s RSPs and actively secures resources for these RSPs, striving for a unified national strategy for their social mobilisation initiatives in Pakistan.
