Muhammad Sami Saeed

Muhammad Sami Saeed is a retired civil servant and a Federal Minister of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives in the Caretaker Cabinet of Pakistan. He has held important positions in the government and international organisations for 38 years, such as Executive Director on the Board of Directors of the Asian Development Bank, Cabinet Secretary to the Government of Pakistan (GoP) and Principal Staff Officer to the Prime Minister. He has extensive experience in the field of planning and development as well as public financial and economic management. He has represented the GoP in various bilateral negotiations and international conferences, such as the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He has an outstanding academic record and studied at renowned national and foreign universities, such as the University of Cambridge and the Kennedy School of Government Harvard University.
