Dr Aamer Irshad is associated with the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) as Head of Program. He is a leading expert of agricultural development and food security. During his twenty-year development career, he has worked with several national and international organisations both in private as well as in the public sector. He has published a number of research articles in scientific peer-reviewed journals, and at times contributes in the national press on current agriculture and food policy issues. He is a recipient of the Fulbright Fellowship (USA) and John Dillon Fellowship (Australia).
